Get more Google reviews with one printed code

A customer points their camera, the review form opens. Paste your review link below — the code comes framed and ready to print, with the Google mark already in the middle.

Stickers

Use the SVG — it scales to any size without softening the edges, which is what print shops ask for. Keep the white margin around the code; trimming it flush to the pattern is what breaks most printed codes. Go 2 cm or larger for arm's-length scanning, and more for a window decal read from the pavement. Any print or sticker service takes the exported file; GlyphIQ does not print or ship stickers.

Table stands

A stand works best when the code sits near eye level for a seated customer and carries one short line saying what scanning does — which is what the label bar is for. Matte print beats gloss under downlights, because a reflection across the pattern stops a camera from locking on. Test it from where people actually sit before you order a batch. GlyphIQ does not sell stands either; the export drops into any stand insert or menu holder.

Receipts and packaging

Put the same code everywhere a satisfied customer already pauses — the receipt, the table, the packing slip, the thank-you card. One link, one code, every touchpoint. Asking out loud usually loses people at the step where they have to find your listing; the printed code removes that step by opening the review form directly.

Printed the code, then the link changed?

This page makes a static code — the link is baked into the image, so there is no service behind it that can lapse and nothing to renew. A dynamic code keeps the printed image fixable and adds scan analytics, funded by one-time packs rather than a monthly plan. A pack runs until its scan budget or its pack term ends, whichever comes first, and GlyphIQ never auto-charges your card.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?

Copy the review link from your Google Business Profile and paste it into step 1 above. The code appears immediately with the Google mark in the middle and a "Review us on Google" label bar already applied, so step 2 is only there if you want to change the wording, the logo, or the colour. Step 3 downloads it. Everything runs in your browser and the link is encoded into the image itself, so there is no account step and nothing is uploaded to us.

Is this review QR code generator free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, and no export limit. You only need a GlyphIQ account if you want a dynamic code whose destination stays changeable after printing, or scan analytics.

Does a Google review QR code expire?

The code this page makes is static: your review link is encoded into the image itself, so there is no service behind it that can lapse and nothing to renew. If your review link ever changes, you generate and print a new code. A dynamic code works the other way round — the printed image stays valid and you edit where it points.

Can I use my own logo instead of the Google mark?

Yes. The Google "G" is preloaded because every code this page builds opens Google's review form, but the logo row swaps it for your own upload or removes it entirely. After each change the tool re-scans the rendered preview and tells you whether the code still decodes — a mark that is too large or too low-contrast is the usual reason a printed code stops scanning.

Can I change the text on the frame?

Yes. The frame row switches between the default "Review us on Google" label, your own wording up to 28 characters, and no frame at all. The label bar and the five stars are composed into the downloaded PNG or SVG rather than drawn only on screen, so the file you send to a printer already carries them.

Is asking for reviews with a QR code allowed?

Google publishes what it prohibits in reviews — including offering payment, discounts, or free goods in exchange for a review, and content that is not based on a real experience. Read that policy before you print anything that asks for reviews. GlyphIQ's part is only the code: it points every scan at the same public review form, and there is no feature here that screens reviewers, filters by rating, or routes anyone away based on what they might say.

Google's prohibited and restricted content policy
What if I print the code and the link turns out to be wrong?

A static code cannot be repointed — the link is in the image, so a wrong link means reprinting. Scan your own code with a phone before you order a batch. That reprint risk is the trade a dynamic code removes: the same printed image keeps working while you change the destination behind it, and you can see how often it is scanned.
